The BOSS PS-6 Harmonist packs four professional-grade intelligent pitch-shift effects into a single compact stompbox, giving guitarists and bassists the tools to create rich harmonies and dramatic pitch-bending effects with studio-quality sound. Built on BOSS's decades of digital signal processing expertise, the PS-6 renders complex harmony voicings beautifully, naturally, and easily—making it a versatile and inspiring addition to any pedalboard.
The PS-6 offers four distinct effect modes: Harmony, Pitch Shifter, Detune, and Super Bend (S-Bend). In Harmony mode, users simply select a key and choose major or minor tonality, then use the SHIFT knob to dial in a single- or dual-voice harmony voicing. The Detune mode creates a three-voice thickening effect ideal for acoustic-style shimmer. And the signature S-Bend mode delivers up to four full octaves of extreme pitch manipulation—either instantly or smoothly via an optional expression pedal.
Expression pedal compatibility (via optional BOSS FV-500L/H or Roland EV-5) unlocks real-time pitch bending and smooth Super Bend effects, turning the PS-6 into a dynamic performance tool. The pedal features BOSS's road-tough construction and buffered bypass for reliable performance on stage or in the studio, and is backed by the BOSS five-year warranty.
