The BOSS RC-10R Rhythm Loop Station combines a stereo two-track looper with an integrated rhythm engine for songwriting, practice, and live performance. It provides approximately six hours of stereo recording, 99 phrase memories, more than 280 rhythm styles, 16 drum kits, and song-oriented rhythm structures with intros, fills, two patterns, and endings.

Designed for guitarists, bassists, keyboard players, and other performing musicians, the RC-10R supports two independent loop tracks arranged as separate song sections. Rhythm and loop engines can operate together or independently, while dedicated Loop and Rhythm footswitches provide hands-free performance control. Users can also store up to 50 custom rhythms and import their own material with compatible computer software.

The audio engine uses 32-bit A/D and D/A conversion with 32-bit floating-point processing for detailed loop playback. Stereo inputs and outputs support flexible routing, including separate loop and rhythm destinations, while selectable output filters optimize response for guitar amplifiers or full-range systems. MIDI I/O, external footswitch and expression control, USB connectivity, and buffered bypass support expanded stage and studio configurations.
