The BOSS SDE-3 Dual Digital Delay Pedal brings the core sound and modulation behavior of the Roland SDE-3000 rack delay into a compact stompbox. It provides up to 800 ms of mono or stereo delay, an extended 1600 ms mono mode, variable Offset dual delays, tap tempo, modulation, and flexible output routing.

Designed for guitarists, synth players, studios, and pedalboard rigs, the SDE-3 handles classic single echoes, modulated digital delay, rhythmic repeats, wide stereo effects, and wet/dry setups. Its Offset control adds a second delay line, either 1 to 100 ms longer than the primary delay or synchronized between eighth-note and dotted-eighth subdivisions for tempo-based patterns.

The pedal processes audio at 48 kHz with 24-bit AD conversion using BOSS Adaptive Focus processing and 32-bit DA conversion. Stereo inputs and outputs support panning or discrete stereo delays, while a 3.5 mm TRS MIDI input receives external clock synchronization. Optional footswitches and expression pedals provide additional tap-tempo, hold, and parameter-control options.
