BOSS WL-20L 2.4 GHz Wireless Instrument System

The BOSS WL-20L 2.4 GHz Wireless Instrument System replaces a standard instrument cable with a compact rechargeable transmitter and receiver. It provides a 50-foot line-of-sight operating range, 2.3 ms latency, 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, automatic channel selection, and 110 dB or greater dynamic range.

Designed for guitars and basses with active pickups, acoustic-electric instruments with onboard preamps, and line-level electronic instruments, the WL-20L omits cable-tone simulation for a direct, uncolored connection. Players seeking a wireless system for active pickups or a compact wireless guitar connection can dock the transmitter and receiver for about 10 seconds to establish the optimum available channel automatically.

Both components contain rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and charge through Micro-USB. The current receiver specification provides approximately seven hours of continuous operation, while the WL-T transmitter runs approximately 12 hours per charge. Up to 14 compatible BOSS wireless systems can operate simultaneously when local RF conditions permit, making the WL-20L suitable for rehearsals, performance stages, houses of worship, and other multi-instrument environments.
