The Bugera BV1001M Veyron MOSFET is an ultra-compact, ultra-lightweight bass amplifier head that pushes a massive 2,000 watts of Class-D power into a chassis you can carry to the gig with one hand. Built around a high-voltage MOSFET preamplifier, the Veyron delivers the harmonic richness, touch sensitivity and dynamic response players expect from a classic all-tube bass rig, while the modern Class-D power section keeps the weight down to roughly eight pounds. For bassists who are tired of hauling a back-breaking tube head but refuse to compromise on tone or headroom, the BV1001M is a serious, road-ready solution.
Tone shaping comes from a passive Gyrator-style 3-band EQ with dedicated Bass, Mid and Treble controls plus a 5-position mid-frequency switch, giving you the warm, musical voicing of a traditional valve amp and the flexibility to dial in everything from deep fingerstyle warmth to aggressive slap definition. A studio-grade optical compressor adds sustain and smooths out volume peaks during dynamic playing, and Bugera's DYNAMIZER power-management technology keeps the amp punchy and articulate by blending dry and compressed signal for maximum impact at any volume.
Connectivity is built for both the stage and the studio. A balanced XLR DI output sends a clean, professional signal straight to the front-of-house console or audio interface, while a footswitchable effects loop lets you patch in outboard processing and toggle it from the floor. A switchable tuner output and a headphone output round out the package, making the Veyron MOSFET equally at home for silent practice, recording sessions and large-stage performances.
