Designed to function as either an encoder or decoder, it supports HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 compliance with up to 18Gbps bandwidth and 4:4:4 video—ideal for commercial AV, enterprise distribution, digital signage, and command-and-control environments.

With support for seamless matrix switching, video walls, and multiview window roaming, the BG-IPGEAR-ULTRA enables a decoder to process up to 16 signals for flexible windowing, overlay, and splicing. Universal H.264/H.265 compression, multicast distribution, and PoE (802.3af Class 3, PD mode) simplify deployment while delivering low-latency performance and centralized control options including RS-232 and USB-based KVM extension.
