The Camplex CMX-12GSDI-TR 12G-SDI fiber extender transmits broadcast-quality SDI video with embedded audio up to 6.25 miles over simplex single-mode fiber. The SFP-based transmitter and receiver support 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI signals for professional video distribution.
Designed for broadcast studios, live production, editing facilities, sports venues, houses of worship, and campus installations, this long-distance SDI fiber transmission system replaces lengthy coaxial runs while maintaining reliable signal integrity. Automatic cable equalization, signal reclocking, and a reclocking SDI loop output help simplify monitoring and distribution at the source.
The compact metal units support video formats ranging from NTSC and PAL through 4K2K at 60p. Compliance with SMPTE 259M, 292M, 424M, 2082-1, and 2082-2 standards supports integration into professional broadcast workflows. Input signal detection LEDs provide quick status confirmation during installation and operation.
