The Camplex CMX-12GSDI-MINI 12G-SDI ST Fiber Extender transmits professional SDI video over single mode ST fiber in a compact inline design. It supports 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI signals, giving broadcast and AV teams a reliable solution for long-distance fiber video transport.
Designed for 12G-SDI over ST fiber workflows, this mini extender connects directly to equipment without requiring additional SDI patch cables. It is well suited for camera systems, production racks, OB trucks, control rooms, and installed AV environments where space is limited and signal reliability is critical. With support for up to 11.88 Gb/s, it handles UHD production signals while maintaining a small footprint.
The CMX-12GSDI-MINI supports SMPTE serial digital interface standards, including 12G, 6G, 3G, HD, and SD formats. It also supports 4K60Hz, 1080p, 1080i, and 720p video formats, while its 1310nm DFB laser and PIN-PD photo detector help maintain stable optical transmission over single mode fiber. Integrated reclocking locks to SMPTE data rates for dependable professional signal performance.
