The Camplex HF-NOMPUW-S Studio Series of cables provides a simplified inline means to convert existing LEMO SMPTE Hybrid infrastructures over to the innovative Neutrik opticalCON DRAGONFLY system based on fiber lenses and fusion splicing. This cable plugs directly into a LEMO FMW chassis mount or LEMO FXW CCU mount 3K Series SMPTE connector for DRAGONFLY conversion and is a SMPTE Hybrid cable with 2 lensed single-mode ferrules and 4 copper pins.
The Neutrik DRAGONFLY is a more robust, reliable and easier to maintain system than common hybrid camera signal transmission systems. At the heart of the opticalCON DRAGONFLY system is the supper innovative XB32 lens system that is 322 times bigger than typical physical contact surfaces found on single mode fiber endfaces. This larger lens allows the XB32 system to transmit UHD 4K and 8K signals with very low loss while providing the best immunity in a SMPTE system when it comes dirt and dust protection.
The Camplex HF-NOMPUW-S is assembled with Furukawa Hybrid Fiber cable which meets SMPTE 311M standards to deliver a highly durable and reliable studio fiber cable. All told, the Camplex HF-NOMPUW-S is ready to provide superior performance for all TV camera broadcasting in sports stadiums, OB trucks, ENG crews, and venues while providing an easy to maintain SMPTE hybrid cable.
