Designed for the Dock-class Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD, the DJI Matrice 4D Series Intelligent Flight Battery is a 6768 mAh, 149.9 Wh, 22.14 V Li-ion 6S pack rated for up to 54 minutes of flight or 47 minutes of hover. It is the battery that powers 24/7 remote operations from DJI Dock 3, where it recharges from 15% to 95% in about 27 minutes, and the same pack is used when the aircraft flies standalone with the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise.

Field conditions are part of the design: the battery supports low-temperature self-heating charging, a 5 to 45 C charging range, a 4C discharge rate and up to 1.8C charging power, with a 400-cycle rating for fleet planning. Weighing 640 g, it contributes to the Matrice 4D's 1850 g takeoff weight and IP55-rated airframe. Because the Matrice 4D series ships without flight batteries in its standard package, operators order these packs separately to match their mission tempo.

Outside the dock, the battery charges on the DJI 240 W 3-port charging hub for the Matrice 4D series, which lets standalone crews cycle three packs at a time from a vehicle or command post. The 149.9 Wh rating is above the 100 Wh airline carry-on threshold, so plan ground transport or airline approval accordingly. Note that it is not interchangeable with the 4S Matrice 4 Series battery used by the Matrice 4T and 4E; confirm the aircraft model before ordering spares for a mixed fleet.
