DJI RS 4 Pro Combo (2026) 3-Axis Gimbal with SDR Transmission and Focus Motor

Refreshed for 2026, the DJI RS 4 Pro Combo bundles DJI's flagship 3-axis handheld stabilizer with the DJI SDR Transmission system and a Focus Pro Motor, replacing the Ronin Image Transmitter found in the original combo. The gimbal's carbon fiber axis arms support a 4.5 kg (10 lb) tested payload with a 20% increase in motor torque over the previous generation, accommodating mainstream mirrorless and cinema camera builds with room to spare.

Second-generation native vertical shooting lets the horizontal plate be released and locked into the vertical position without extra accessories, and the second-generation automated axis locks reduce gimbal shake when stowed. A joystick mode switch toggles between gimbal movement and lens zoom, so with two Focus Pro Motors fitted an operator can zoom from the joystick and pull focus from the dial. The gimbal is natively compatible with the DJI Focus Pro LiDAR for 76,800-point autofocus within 20 m and with the DJI RS SDK ecosystem.

The included DJI SDR Transmission transmitter mounts to the stabilizer and draws power from it, sending 1080p/60fps video at up to 20 Mbps with latency as low as 35 ms and a range of up to 3 km (FCC) to the included receiver, which outputs to monitors via SDI/HDMI or to phones and tablets over USB-C and Wi-Fi. The BG30 battery grip runs the gimbal for up to 13 hours and recharges in about 1.5 hours with a 24W PD charger. Rod mount kit, focus gear strip, mounting adapter plates, phone holder, briefcase handle, extended grip/tripod, and carrying case complete the kit.
