DJI RS 5 3-Axis Camera Gimbal Stabilizer with BG33 Battery Grip

Mirrorless and compact cinema shooters get a faster setup and longer days from the DJI RS 5, a three-axis gimbal with a tested payload of 3.0 kg. Teflon-enhanced axis arms and new fine-tuning knobs make balancing smoother and more precise, second-generation automated axis locks unlock and lock the arms at power on and off, and a new Z-axis indicator helps confirm balance before rolling. The gimbal weighs about 1193 g with its quick-release plates.

Power comes from the BG33 Battery Grip, a 2150 mAh, 33.29 Wh LiPo 4S pack that offers approximately 14 hours of standby, charges fully in about one hour from a 65 W PD source, and delivers a 15 percent longer runtime than the previous generation. Each axis rotates at up to 360 degrees per second, with continuous 360-degree pan, -95 to +240 degree roll and -112 to +214 degree tilt.

Bluetooth 5.0 and the included Multi-Camera Control Cable connect the RS 5 to Canon, Sony, Nikon and Fujifilm bodies for shutter and recording control from the handle. The standard package includes the Quick-Open Tripod, lens-fastening support, upper and lower quick-release plates and a screw kit; the touchscreen-driven RS Enhanced Intelligent Tracking Module and Electronic Briefcase Handle are available in the Combo.
