DJI RS 5 Combo 3-Axis Camera Gimbal with Tracking Module and Briefcase Handle

One-person crews and small teams who need tracking and low-mode control in one package should look at the DJI RS 5 Combo. It bundles the RS 5 gimbal with the RS Enhanced Intelligent Tracking Module and the Electronic Briefcase Handle, plus a carrying case to keep everything together. The 19 g magnetic tracking module enables touchscreen subject selection, tracks from 0.5 to 10 m, and can reacquire a subject that briefly leaves the frame.

The gimbal itself carries a tested payload of 3.0 kg and uses Teflon-enhanced axis arms with fine-tuning knobs, second-generation automated axis locks and a Z-axis indicator for quick, repeatable balancing. The BG33 Battery Grip provides approximately 14 hours of standby, a one-hour full charge from a 65 W PD source and 15 percent more runtime than before, while each axis moves at up to 360 degrees per second.

The Electronic Briefcase Handle adds gimbal and camera control for underslung and briefcase-mode shooting, and Bluetooth 5.0 plus the Multi-Camera Control Cable drive Canon, Sony, Nikon and Fujifilm bodies from the grip. Quick-Open Tripod, lens-fastening support, upper and lower quick-release plates, a 13 cm L-shaped USB-C cable and a screw kit complete the Combo, which folds to 247.4 x 115.7 x 258.7 mm for transport.
