The DZOFilm VESPID 16 mm T2.8 is a highly compact cine prime delivering a dramatic full-frame/Vista-Vision field of view on a slender 72 mm barrel. Its constant T2.8 aperture and 16-blade iris produce smooth, immersive bokeh and maintain consistent exposure across the frame, while the PL/EF interchangeable mount system ensures seamless integration with ARRI and Canon cinema cameras.
Featuring 14 elements in 10 groups—including two aspherical elements—the VESPID controls coma and astigmatism for edge-to-edge sharpness. A minimum focus distance of 10″ (25 cm), 270° focus throw, and 50° iris throw provide precise manual control for creative wide-angle storytelling on gimbals, drones, or handheld rigs.
