DZOFILM X-TRACT 18–28 mm T8 FF Probe Zoom Lens – 0 ° Direct View (ARRI PL)
The X-TRACT 0 ° probe zoom combines an 18–28 mm wide-angle range, macro 2.1 : 1 magnification and a slender 29.6 mm front diameter to capture cinematic close-ups in spaces conventional lenses cannot reach. Designed for full-frame / VistaVision sensors, it maintains a constant T8 aperture across its 1.55× zoom range while holding focus (parfocal) and limiting distortion to ±2 %.
A waterproof, IP-57-rated aluminum barrel houses 25 optical elements in 18 groups, including 7 high-refractive-index and 6 extra-low-dispersion elements for accurate color and minimal chromatic aberration. Cine-standard 0.8 MOD gears, 300° focus throw, 100° zoom rotation and 72° iris rotation enable seamless integration with follow-focus motors. The lens focuses to 6 mm from the front element (0.47 m from the sensor) for extreme close-ups, and its rear-heavy balance improves stability on handheld rigs, sliders and robotic arms.
