The Episode EA-DYN-8D-100 Dynamic Series Class-D amplifier delivers clean, efficient multi-zone power for whole-home and light commercial audio systems. Eight amplifier channels provide up to 100 watts per channel (4 ohms; 50W RMS at 8 ohms), and any pair of channels can be bridged for 200 watts into 8 ohms when a larger room or higher-output speakers demand more headroom. Built on efficient Class-D amplification, the EA-DYN-8D-100 runs cool and quiet in the rack while achieving a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 103 dB and vanishingly low distortion.
Flexible input routing makes system design simple: each channel has its own analog input, and two global analog inputs plus global optical and coaxial (SPDIF) digital inputs let you distribute any two-channel source across any or all zones. Every zone also includes a dedicated subwoofer output with a 200 Hz crossover, so you can add low-end reinforcement anywhere without redesigning the system. Loop outputs allow easy expansion to additional amplifiers as the installation grows.
Installer-friendly touches round out the package: audio-sensing auto standby with 12V trigger in/out saves energy when no signal is present, per-channel gain controls make room balancing painless, and built-in surge protection (ESD tested to 15,000V, surge tested to 2,400V) protects the investment in real-world rack environments. The 2U chassis includes rack ears for a clean, professional installation, backed by Episode's 2-year limited warranty.
