The Fender Motion Production & Performance MIDI Pad Controller is available in two configurations: the compact Motion 16 with a traditional 4 x 4 pad layout and the expanded Motion 32 with 32 performance pads. Both models combine velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB FATAR pads, illuminated touch controls, a color display, USB connectivity, MIDI I/O, and deep Fender Studio Pro integration.

Motion 16 is designed for compact songwriting, beatmaking, finger drumming, sequencing, and portable production setups. Motion 32 expands the playing surface with a dual-lane 32-pad arrangement that supports drum, melodic, chord, Keys, and Blocks workflows. The larger model also adds two expressive touch strips and a larger display, while Motion 16 uses a single multifunction touch strip for pitch, modulation, and effect control.

Both Fender Motion variants support Smart Scales and Smart Chords, including more than 30 chord progressions for building harmonies without memorizing conventional patterns. Eight touch-sensitive illuminated encoders provide hands-on control of instruments, effects, editing, and mixing, while timeline navigation and session controls reduce reliance on a mouse and keyboard. USB bus power supports streamlined desktop and mobile setups, and a perpetual Fender Studio Pro license is included with both configurations.
