Fire-Lite Alarms ES-1000X 954-Point Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel

The Fire-Lite Alarms ES-1000X is an intelligent addressable fire alarm control panel (FACP) from the Endurance Series, built for larger and more complex commercial life-safety installations. Shipping with a pre-installed loop card, the ES-1000X supports up to 318 addressable devices per Signaling Line Circuit (159 detectors and 159 modules) and expands to three loops with optional SLC-3LS loop expander cards, for a total capacity of 954 addressable points. Fire-Lite's LiteSpeed polling protocol keeps response times fast across SLC runs of up to 10,000 feet on twisted, unshielded wire, and the panel supports Class B, Class A and Class X circuit configurations.

Central-station reporting is handled by a pre-installed IPOTS-COM communicator that transmits alarms, troubles, AC loss and other system status over both Ethernet IP and a standard POTS telephone line. Reporting alarms over the internet removes the need for two dedicated business phone lines, while the secondary telephone line can be retained as backup. Optional CLSS Pathway and GSM cellular communicators are available where dual-path or sole-path wireless reporting is required, and the panel is compatible with SWIFT wireless devices for areas where running SLC wire is impractical.

For installers and service technicians, the ES-1000X is designed around fast commissioning and easy maintenance. Auto-programming (learn mode) shortens installation time and flags two devices set to the same address, four programmable function keys put common tasks a single press away, and the integral 80-character backlit LCD plus 16-key alphanumeric keypad allow full programming at the panel. Entire programs, history files, walk-test data and system voltages can be uploaded or downloaded through the USB port using the FS-Tools utility, so databases can be built offline in the office and loaded on site. Listed to UL 864 10th edition and supporting multi-criteria smoke, heat and CO detection, it is a strong fit for schools, healthcare, hospitality, retail and multi-tenant commercial buildings.
