The Gentex 901-1657-001 Smart Home Connector bridges HomeLink-equipped vehicle controls with a Z-Wave smart home network. It lets compatible in-vehicle buttons trigger up to six programmed scenes for connected lighting, locks, thermostats, and other actions while also supporting direct scene control from the included handheld remote.

Designed for residential automation, attached garages, entryways, and professionally managed smart homes, the plug-in connector provides a practical HomeLink connector for garage and entry automation without adding another control interface inside the vehicle. SmartStart simplifies compatible Z-Wave enrollment, while Z-Wave Long Range support can extend connectivity when the controller and installation support that mode.
