Godox 240F 3-Section Aluminum Light Stand (7.8')

The Godox 240F is a straightforward three-section aluminum light stand that rises to 7.8' (240 cm) and collapses to about 26" (66 cm). It is the everyday workhorse height for portrait, product and interview lighting - tall enough to get a key light well above eye line, short enough to fit in a standard stand bag - and at only 2.9 lb (1.3 kg) it is easy to carry several at once.

The riser terminates in a standard 5/8" (16 mm) stud capped with a 1/4"-20 male thread, so it accepts umbrella swivels, tilt brackets, speedlight shoe adapters and small ball heads without an extra spigot. With a 4.4 lb (2 kg) rated load it is matched to speedlights, compact LED panels, ring lights, umbrellas, reflector holders and small softboxes rather than heavy COB fixtures.

Oversized locking knobs let you loosen, slide and re-lock a section quickly with cold or gloved hands, and the sections slide freely for fast assembly and breakdown. The black finish keeps the stand from showing up as a bright reflection in glossy product work.
