Godox 300F 4-Section Aluminum Light Stand (9.8')

The Godox 300F is a four-section aluminum light stand that reaches a tall 9.8' (300 cm) yet folds down to just 33.9" (86 cm). The extra riser section is what makes that possible: more sections mean a shorter packed length at the same working height, so this is the stand to choose when you need to get a hair light, backlight or background light high above the set but still want it to fit a normal stand bag.

It carries up to 6.6 lb (3 kg), which covers speedlights, compact LED panels and light sticks, small to medium softboxes, umbrellas and reflector holders. The riser is topped with a standard 5/8" (16 mm) stud with a 1/4"-20 male threaded tip, so umbrella swivels, tilt brackets and shoe-mount adapters all fit directly. Large locking knobs make raising and lowering sections quick, and the sections slide freely for fast setup.

At 3.7 lb (1.7 kg) the 300F remains genuinely portable for its height and pairs well with the shorter 7.8' Godox 240F in a multi-light kit. If you need to hang a heavier fixture at similar height, step up to the three-section heavy-duty Godox 290F, which trades packed length for a higher load rating.
