Godox 380F 12.5 ft Heavy-Duty 4-Section Aluminum Light Stand

The Godox 380F is a heavy-duty four-section light stand that tops out at 12.5 feet (3.8 m), putting it in the height class normally reserved for grip-rental gear. That reach lets you get a key light well above eye line for flattering top-down portraiture, drop a large softbox in from outside the frame on a wide product setup, or throw a hard backlight over a set without a truss.

Four aluminum-alloy riser sections with oversized locking knobs on every stage let you dial in exact working height and hold it there under load. The stand carries up to 5 kg (11 lb), enough for LED COB fixtures such as the Godox SL and FV series, AD300Pro and AD400Pro strobes with a reflector, or a medium softbox. A 5/8 in (16 mm) stud at the top is the industry-standard interface, so it accepts grip heads, umbrella adapters, speed rings and boom arms without adapters.

Despite the height, the 380F collapses down to a manageable length and stays light enough for one person to carry a pair to a location. Film, broadcast, corporate video and event photography crews use stands in this class as their tall backlight and hair-light positions, and its aluminum construction means it will not corrode in a damp gear cage the way steel stands do.
