Description
The Godox AC400 turns the battery-powered AD400Pro Witstro all-in-one monolight into a mains-powered studio strobe. Slide the WB400P battery off the back of the head and slide the AC400 on in its place, plug in, and the 400Ws light runs continuously from a wall outlet. It is the accessory that lets a single AD400Pro serve as both a location flash and a permanently rigged studio key without buying a second head.
Universal 100–240 VAC input at 50 or 60 Hz means the adapter works on any mains supply with the appropriate cord, and the supplied 8-foot grounded cable gives enough reach to keep the head where you want it. A built-in fan provides additional cooling so the pairing stays stable through long, high-frame-count sessions such as headshot days, catalog product runs and event photo booths.
Fitment matters here: the AC400 is the adapter for the AD400Pro. It is not the AC26 (which serves the AD600Pro and AD600Pro II) or the AC1200 (which serves the AD1200Pro power pack). Because it mounts in the battery position, switching back to portable battery operation is a few seconds' work.
