Godox LC500R Air 2.5ft RGB Inflatable LED Tube Light with Battery Grip

The Godox LC500R Air is a full-colour RGB LED tube light built around an inflatable light head, which lets a 2.5-foot wand collapse into a bag small enough to travel with a camera body and a couple of lenses. Godox replaced the rigid diffusion tube of the original LC500R with an air-filled envelope, cutting weight by more than 30% to roughly 1.17 lb with the battery grip attached, while keeping the same 360-degree wrap of soft, even output that stick lights are bought for.

Colour control runs from 2800K to 10000K in CCT mode with green/magenta correction, plus full RGB hue and saturation for gels, practicals and colour-blocked backgrounds. Godox rates the fixture at CRI approximately 96 and TLCI approximately 98, so skin tones and product colour hold up on camera without heavy grading, and 14 built-in FX presets cover the usual on-set cheats: lightning, TV, fire, police car, party, broken bulb and more.

For run-and-gun video, event coverage, product tabletop work and creator studios, the LC500R Air works as a handheld wand, a background accent, or a mounted edge light via its 1/4"-20 thread. The BG-LC5A rechargeable grip delivers 94 minutes at full output, recharges over USB-C in about 2 hours 20 minutes, and accepts USB-C pass-through power for all-day studio use. Onboard controls handle quick changes; Bluetooth and the Godox Light app handle everything else. Optional LC5AD diffuser and LC5AG grid shape the beam further.
