The GR Bass Groove 800 / Groove 1200 Tube Bass Amplifier Heads combine a two-tube 12AX7 preamp with lightweight high-output bass amplification. Choose the Groove 800 for 800W RMS at 4 ohms or the Groove 1200 for 1200W RMS at 4 ohms, giving working bassists two power levels on the same Groove platform.

Both versions provide a four-band equalizer with switchable mid frequencies, plus Deep, Bright, Tone, and Pure functions for shaping different instruments, cabinets, and rooms. The Drive control adjusts distortion generated by the tube stage, while Pure bypasses the preamp equalization filters for a flat EQ path. A front auxiliary input, headphone monitoring, effects loop, and balanced DI support rehearsal, stage, and recording workflows.

The shared chassis also includes two combination speaker outputs with a 2.7-ohm minimum load, a rear XLR auxiliary input dedicated to headphone monitoring, footswitch control for Mute and Drive, and a 24-LED VU meter.
