The GRI 2600-W 12VDC closed-loop water sensor detects conductive, non-flammable liquid and activates its built-in relay when moisture bridges the sensor contacts. Designed for surface mounting, it can trigger an alarm panel or external annunciator while also signaling loss of power or sensor failure in a normally closed circuit.

This wired water leak detector helps protect computer rooms, telephone equipment rooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms, drip pans, drains, and areas near tanks or piping. It detects water layers as shallow as 1/16 inch without mechanical moving parts. Automatic reset prepares the sensor for continued monitoring after the moisture condition clears.

The four-wire design uses dedicated power and relay-contact leads for straightforward integration with compatible closed-loop alarm zones. Installers can place an end-of-line resistor in series when required by the control panel. A standard 6-foot jacketed lead supports flexible positioning, while the compact white housing provides an unobtrusive solution for professional water-damage monitoring.
