The paddle design supports both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands used by the Pyro system, so the link can hop to the clearest channel and hold a stable 4K signal. Paired with a Pyro transmitter and receiver, the paddle antennas help the system reach its rated line-of-sight range of up to 1300 feet, giving camera operators and monitoring crews more room to move on set.

Installation takes seconds: thread the connector onto the RP-SMA jack, tighten by hand, and angle the paddle for the best reception. Keep one in the kit as a spare so a bent or missing antenna never stops a shoot.
