It converts the 12 to 18 volts to regulated 5VDC and is rated for a 2-amp draw at 5 volts, which provides a safety margin to the device as GoPro cameras draw approximately 1 amp. It features an overall cable length of 30Ć¢ā¬Ā with an industry-standard P-Tap connector for input voltage and a mini USB connector that plugs into the camera. The power converter is Made in the USA.
