Designed for retail stores, corporate offices, education facilities, and hospitality environments, the Control 414C/T handles both background music and speech paging with consistent clarity. Its 8-ohm direct impedance allows up to two speakers per 4-ohm amplifier channel, while the built-in multi-tap transformer enables flexible distributed audio system wiring without additional components.

All Control 400 Series models are engineered with installer-friendly features: terminal covers with top and side cable entry, captive hand-screws for tool-free securing, and a captive dogear mounting system compatible with a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. The full-face magnetic grille is paintable and includes an integrated safety tether, meeting UL 1480A, UL 2043, NFPA 90A, and NFPA 70 requirements for plenum-rated installations.
