The JBL Control 416C/T is a 6.5-inch two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker from the Control 400 Standard Coverage Series, delivering 61 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, 50 watts of continuous power handling, and combined 70V/100V and low-impedance operation - replacing the legacy Control 16C/T with improved installation features and modern aesthetics.

Built for retail stores, corporate offices, education facilities, and hospitality environments, the Control 416C/T pairs a coaxially mounted 165 mm woofer with a 20 mm soft-dome tweeter for smooth, full-bandwidth music and speech reproduction. The built-in multi-tap transformer enables flexible distributed audio wiring, while the low-impedance direct input supports conventional amplifier channels.

All Control 400 Series models are engineered with installer-friendly features: terminal covers with top and side cable entry, captive hand-screws for tool-free securing, and a captive dogear mounting system compatible with a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. The full-face magnetic grille is paintable and includes an integrated safety tether, meeting UL 1480A, UL 2043, NFPA 90A, and NFPA 70 requirements for plenum-rated installations.
