The JBL Control 424LP is a 4-inch two-way coaxial low-profile ceiling loudspeaker from the Control 400 Enhanced Coverage Series, delivering a wide 75 Hz to 18 kHz frequency range and 130-degree conical coverage from a shallow enclosure designed for ceilings with limited above-ceiling depth.
Featuring JBL's exclusive CRBI (Coplanar Radiation Boundary Integrator) technology, the Control 424LP keeps coverage and tonal balance consistent throughout the listening space - a meaningful upgrade for retail, office, healthcare, and hospitality installs where HVAC, structure, or pan-deck construction leaves little room above the tile.
Like all Control 400 Series models, it is engineered with installer-friendly features: terminal covers with convenient cable entry, captive hand-screws, and a captive dogear mounting system compatible with a wide range of ceiling thicknesses, plus a paintable full-face magnetic grille with integrated safety tether.
