The JBL Control 445C/T is a 5.25-inch two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeaker from the Control 400 Premium Coverage Series, featuring JBL's Radiation Boundary Integrator (RBI) technology for broadband pattern control - delivering consistent, even coverage from 55 Hz to 20 kHz for high-end commercial audio installations in hospitality, corporate, retail, and cultural venues.

Replacing the Control 45C/T, the 445C/T occupies the mid-size slot in the Premium Coverage lineup, offering RBI-enhanced directivity control in a 5.25-inch form factor. This makes it ideal for spaces that need more output than a 4-inch speaker but prefer the refined aesthetics and smaller ceiling opening of a 5.25-inch driver over a 6.5-inch model.

Like all Control 400 Premium Coverage Series models, the speaker features JBL's redesigned terminal covers with top and side cable entry, captive hand-screw securing, and a reliable dogear design for a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. The full-face magnetic grille is paintable and includes an integrated safety tether. Safety ratings include UL 1480A, UL 2043, NFPA 90A, and NFPA 70 for plenum-rated environments.
