JICO J-AAC0835 OMNIA J44A 7 DJ Improved SD Cartridge 2-Pack, Silver Headshells

Matched for a two-turntable setup, the JICO J-AAC0835 2-pack delivers a pair of OMNIA J44A 7 DJ Improved SD cartridges pre-mounted on JICO's original silver headshells. Based on the beloved Shure M44-7 specification, the J44A 7 is tuned for DJ work, with a lively, vigorous character and powerful bass that keeps the low end solid when scratching or mixing at club volume. JICO assembles, wires and fastens each cartridge to its headshell in Japan, so the set is ready to lock into a standard tonearm collar out of the box.

Each cartridge ships with the N-44-7 DJ IMP SD stylus installed: a synthetic diamond spherical tip on an aluminum tubular cantilever that tracks confidently through back-cues, scribbles and transforms. Output is 8 mV at 1 kHz (5 cm/sec) into a 47 kilohm load with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range, and the 5.6 g cartridge sits at a 16 mm phono height. Because the J44A 7 is a 1/2-inch standard mount, the cartridges can also be transferred to other headshells if your rig changes.

The silver OMNIA headshell suits classic chrome-accent decks and keeps both arms looking identical; a black-headshell version of the same set is sold separately. The J44A 7 body is compatible with the full range of JICO and Shure 44-series styli, so the cartridges can be re-tipped with SKRATCH 101-40, N-44-7 DJ IMP SD or nude-diamond styli as your needs grow. Sold and priced as a 2-pack of mounted cartridges.
