JK Audio AUTO AutoHybrid Passive Auto-Answer Telephone Line Hybrid

Monitoring a remote location or pulling an IFB feed over a plain analog phone line should not require a powered rack of gear. The JK Audio AutoHybrid is a simple, passive auto-answer/disconnect telephone line hybrid that allows simultaneous send and receive audio through analog telephone lines, with no battery or AC power required.

With the Auto switch selected, AutoHybrid answers on the first ring and stays off-hook until the Drop button is pressed or the phone company releases the line. Its dual transformer hybrid delivers 20 dB nominal trans-hybrid loss, and a hybrid null adjustment lets you fine-tune separation between the send and caller audio.

A female XLR send input and a balanced male XLR caller output make it easy to tie into mixers, PA systems, and studio gear, while screw terminals provide remote off-hook and release control. The desktop unit converts to rack mounting with the optional RA4 panel, which holds four AutoHybrids in 1U.
