Description
Turn your phone line into a party line. The JK Audio Interchange LTD is a 1RU rackmount interface that gives remote access to a party-line intercom, with a built-in digital hybrid for analog POTS lines plus a front panel headset jack for a wireless phone, tablet, or computer.
The internal DSP hybrid uses a dual-convergence echo canceller that typically exceeds 50 dB of separation without setup or noise bursts. A front panel DTMF keypad with redial and a monitor headset jack with volume control make call setup easy, and the Listen-Always design lets the hybrid and mobile interface monitor the intercom through a high-impedance bridging tap.
Talk mode is set by a front panel switch to Off, On, or Auto, which follows the hybrid's auto-answer. Male and female 3-pin XLR loop and 4-wire jacks, a balanced XLR line out for monitoring, LED metering, and screwdriver level controls round it out, with the power supply included.
