JK Audio THAT1 THAT-1 Telephone Handset Audio Tap with RCA In/Out

Need to play sound bites into a call or record a conversation through RCA jacks? The JK Audio THAT-1 connects between a telephone and its handset for quick access to audio in and out of the phone, and it is used by radio stations to record and play clips and by computer and telecom companies to demonstrate voice services over a powered speaker.

A grey pushbutton selects whether you talk on the handset or send audio in through the RCA input. The RCA output carries a mix of both sides of the conversation plus keypad tones, and a volume control sets the level going to your speaker or recorder.

The receive side works with any telephone; sending audio into the phone requires an electret handset microphone. For round-mouthpiece or mixed phone fleets, JK Audio recommends the THAT-2. THAT-1 is passive and does not work with cordless or cell phones, or phones with a keypad in the handset.
