The Juice Goose RT-REL Power Sensing Relay converts the presence of 120 VAC power at a switched outlet into a dry contact control signal. When AC power is applied, the relay changes its contact state, allowing compatible power sequencers, amplifiers, AV systems, and control equipment to respond automatically without a separate control power supply.

Designed for installed AV, rack systems, studios, venues, and commercial audio applications, the RT-REL can extend control from a switched outlet on a power strip, sequencer, receiver, amplifier, or similar component. Its external normally open, common, and normally closed connections provide flexible integration with equipment that accepts contact-closure control.

The compact black enclosure uses a permanently attached 3-foot, 18/2 AWG power cable with a NEMA 5-15P plug. Juice Goose rates the relay contacts for up to 10 amps and specifies operation from 120 V, 60 Hz power. At only 3 x 2 x 1 inches and 4.8 ounces, the RT-REL can fit easily behind racks or near controlled AV equipment.
