The Kondor Blue Blackmagic URSA Mini Cage MKII is designed to expand the rigging potential of Blackmagic Design’s URSA Mini series while keeping the camera body practical, balanced, and production-ready. Built for filmmakers who need a flexible cinema camera cage system, this MKII cage adds professional mounting options for handles, side grips, monitors, wireless video systems, audio accessories, and other essential production tools without compromising access to the camera’s core controls.
Integrated NATO rails throughout the cage make it easy to build out a clean and efficient camera setup. The top plate is designed to work with compatible Kondor Blue accessories such as the Hollywood Handle, while the left and right side rails provide both NATO interfaces and 3/8""-16 anti-twist mounting points. Rubber contact pads help stabilize the top plate against the camera body, creating a secure fit that helps reduce unwanted vibration during handheld, shoulder-mounted, or studio production use.
For side-handle placement, the cage uses Kondor Blue’s Dragonfly Rosette Wings, giving operators more control over positioning and ergonomics. The rosette wings slide in and out for precise placement and rotate through four indexed angles, allowing users to fine-tune handle height and grip position. Whether building a lightweight documentary rig or a fully loaded production camera setup, the Blackmagic URSA Mini Cage MKII gives creators a versatile foundation for professional cinema workflows.
