Introducing the Revolutionary KONDOR BLUE Hatch System for Fujifilm GFX100 II Camera Cage

The GFX100 II is a groundbreaking camera that offers a 102MP BSI CMOS 44x33mm medium format sensor. When it came to designing a cage for it, our team knew we had to create something truly unique. Our philosophy focused on speed, strength, and sleekness to match the camera's aesthetic. This led us to develop the Hatch System, an innovative way to mount the camera cage with minimal bolts while maintaining rock-solid stability.

The Hatch System features Mid-Rail and eyelet inserts, which are essential to the system's strength and rigidity. The Bottom Plate becomes a "hatch," pivoting and clasping around the camera's base, allowing for the best strength-to-weight ratio of any cage on the market. With only four bolts required for assembly, the cage is easy to install and remove. All bolts necessary for removing the cage are clearly marked with arrow engravings, streamlining the process.

Our Fujifilm GFX100 II cage kit comes fully prepped for installation out of the box. Users can mount the cage by swinging the pivoting Bottom Plate 180°, setting the cage on top of the camera while sliding in the eyelet connectors, and then swinging the Bottom Plate back into place. The Hatch system has also allowed us to design the cage even more form-fitting, enhancing its installation and removal speeds.

The cage comes equipped with a NATO rail on Side and Top Plates, stainless steel ARRI-style rosette, ARRI-style anti-twist mounts (1/4 20 and 3/8 16), removable HDMI/USB-C yoke, built-in tools for assembly, angled cold shoe with safety stop, and our signature bubble level. Each piece is precision machined from durable 6061 aluminum and anodized in Space Gray or Raven Black.
