This STNC64000400 configuration ships fully populated with 64TB of total capacity across eight 8TB Seagate IronWolf Pro hard drives, delivering enterprise-class reliability in a rugged, handle-equipped aluminum enclosure built with a minimum of 35% recycled materials. Hardware RAID and hot-swappable bays let studios scale performance and redundancy to match the job at hand.
Powered by Thunderbolt 5, the 8big Pro5 moves data at up to 120Gb/s, reaching real-world speeds up to 2800MB/s in RAID 0 and up to 2500MB/s in RAID 5 so editors can work directly off the array without proxies. A single Thunderbolt 5 cable carries both data and up to 140W of power delivery to charge a connected laptop, while two additional Thunderbolt 5 downstream ports and a 20Gb/s USB-C port let you daisy-chain monitors, storage, and peripherals into a clean, high-bandwidth studio setup. The array is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, and USB4 systems on both Mac and Windows.
Built-in hardware RAID supports 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, and JBOD modes, managed easily through LaCie RAID Manager, with Seagate Toolkit backup software included for automated data protection.
