MIPRO MI-580R 5 GHz Digital Stereo IEM Bodypack Receiver with USB-C Charging

The MIPRO MI-580R is the next step in the MI-58 series of 5 GHz digital in-ear monitoring. It is a compact stereo bodypack receiver that works with the MI-58T transmitter in the ISM 5.8 GHz band, well away from the crowded UHF spectrum used by most wireless microphones, so a monitor rig can be added to a stage without a frequency coordination headache. True diversity reception keeps the audio locked in during rehearsals and shows, and the system runs at roughly 1.8 ms of latency in Group B with a 20 Hz to 23 kHz stereo response and better than 100 dB of stereo separation.

What sets the MI-580R apart from the original MI-58R is its patented battery compartment. The receiver accepts either two standard AA alkaline cells or a single 18500 lithium-ion battery, and it charges the Li-ion cell in place over USB Type-C with built-in safety protection, so there is no dedicated charging dock to carry. Either power source gives more than eight hours of operation. A backlit graphic LCD, MODE and arrow buttons, a top-mounted volume knob and an ACT sync sensor keep setup simple: hold the receiver near the transmitter and the group, channel and ID transfer in a moment, with ENG mode able to configure up to 16 receivers from one transmitter.

Performers can shape their own mix on the pack. Stereo and Mixed monitoring modes, left/right balance adjustment and a four-position EQ (FLAT, LO-CUT, LO-BOT, HI-BOT) cover most stage preferences, and the 3.5 mm TRS output delivers 100 mW per channel into 16 ohms, enough for MIPRO's E-8S and E-9 earphones as well as most third-party in-ear monitors. The reinforced polymer housing with a sturdy belt clip is built for musicians, worship teams, theaters and production companies that need reliable, affordable wireless monitoring.
