The NETGEAR AGM732F is an SFP transceiver module that brings Gigabit Ethernet fiber connectivity to NETGEAR managed switching platforms. It meets the SFP GBIC standard for use in any compliant SFP slot, making it a clean way to add fiber links to an existing switch without replacing hardware, whether in a server room or a distributed AV installation.
Using an LC duplex connector, the module drives Gigabit Ethernet across distances up to 10 km (6.2 miles) over 9/125µm single mode fiber cable. It fits the SFP interfaces of all NETGEAR Fully Managed Switches and Smart Switches, as well as the JGS524F, which keeps one transceiver model serviceable across a mixed switch estate.
