NETGEAR M4250-10G2XF-PoE+ AV Switch
NETGEAR's M4250-10G2XF-PoE+ comes from the AV Line of M4250 switches, engineered specifically for AV-over-IP at the widespread 1Gbps codec tier. With ten 1G ports, two SFP slots, and eight PoE+ ports sharing a 240W budget, it fits compact installs where preconfigured audio and video profiles for Dante, Q-SYS, AES67, NVX, NDI, and more shorten commissioning time.
A dedicated web-based AV GUI applies color-coded, port-based profiles, while IGMP Plus automates multicast when multiple M4250, M4300, or M4500 switches interconnect. The shared Layer 2 and Layer 3 engine adds static, RIP, and PIM routing, DHCP Server, and PTPv2, and AVB transmission is enabled by an emailed activation key, included at no extra cost since the November 2023 firmware. The switch runs fanless or at 39.22dB.
