NETGEAR M4250-26G4XF-PoE+ Managed Switch
The M4250-26G4XF-PoE+ is a mid-size member of NETGEAR's AV Line, purpose-built for AV-over-IP systems running 1Gbps codecs. Twenty-four 1G PoE+ ports with a 480W budget power cameras, decoders, and control hardware, while two additional 1G ports and four SFP+ slots handle uplinks. It suits conference centers, houses of worship, and venues standardizing on networked audio and video.
Ports arrive preconfigured for standard AV signals, and the dedicated AV GUI assigns color-based profiles covering Dante, Q-SYS, and AES67 audio plus NVX, SVSI, NDI, and Dante video. IGMP Plus interconnects multiple switches automatically alongside Auto-Trunk and Auto-LAG. The common Layer 2 and Layer 3 engine provides static, RIP, and PIM routing, DHCP Server, and PTPv2, with AVB enabled by an electronic license included following the November 2023 firmware.
