The NiSi 16mm f/2.8 ASPH Ultra-Wide Lens is a manual-focus medium format prime made for Hasselblad XCD cameras. It mounts natively without an adapter and delivers an expansive 118° diagonal angle of view. Its bright f/2.8 aperture supports landscape, architectural, interior, and astrophotography applications requiring dramatic perspective and detailed image quality.

Designed for high-resolution medium format photography, the lens uses 16 optical elements arranged in 12 groups. Three glass aspherical elements and four ultra-low dispersion elements help control distortion, coma, color fringing, and other optical aberrations. This advanced construction maintains strong sharpness, contrast, and color accuracy across the large image circle of cameras with resolutions up to 100 megapixels.

A 9.84-inch minimum focusing distance lets photographers place foreground subjects close to the lens for exaggerated depth and immersive wide-angle compositions. The smooth manual focus ring provides 180° of rotation for controlled adjustments, while the clicked aperture ring offers tactile exposure control. A weather-sealed metal body, protective surface coating, and standard 82mm filter thread prepare the lens for professional studio and outdoor production.
