Ocean Matrix OMX-10HMIP0005 is an HDMI wall plate extender designed for classrooms, conference rooms, and collaborative environments. It enables HDMI video extension over Cat5e/6 infrastructure for AV installers and IT teams, supporting IP-based signal distribution workflows. This makes it ideal for installations where wall-mounted connectivity and network-based extension are critical.
The unit uses H.264 compression over TCP/IP to transmit HDMI video and LPCM audio across a LAN. It supports point-to-point runs and can also be deployed through an Ethernet switch to reach multiple receivers and displays. Power can be supplied by the included adapter or by a PoE source.
The wall plate format supports clean integration into room AV systems where projector and display connections need to be placed at the wall. Network transport allows the extender to operate within existing structured cabling environments. Receiver compatibility supports deployment with supported Ocean Matrix IP HDMI receiver models.
