OM System M.Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f/2.8 IS PRO Telephoto Zoom Lens

A constant f/2.8 aperture across a 100-400mm-equivalent range is rare at any size, and the M.Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f/2.8 IS PRO brings it to Micro Four Thirds in a lens that still weighs about 1,075 g. Wildlife, sports, aviation and event photographers get the reach to fill the frame from a distance plus the light-gathering to keep shutter speeds high when the light drops.

Steady framing at long focal lengths is handled by a VCM-driven in-lens stabilizer rated at 5.5 steps at 200mm, and up to 7.0 steps of 5-axis Sync IS with a compatible OM SYSTEM body. The optical design of 21 elements in 13 groups uses two Super ED, one ED, one aspherical ED, three E-HR and two HR elements for sharp, high-contrast results, and a 0.78 m closest focusing distance yields 0.50x 35mm-equivalent magnification at 200mm.

Finished in the white of OM SYSTEM's long telephotos, the lens is dustproof and splashproof to IP53 with a manual focus clutch, L-Fn button and a detachable, rotating tripod collar. Add the MC-14 teleconverter for a 70-280mm f/4 (140-560mm equivalent) or the MC-20 for a 100-400mm f/5.6 (200-800mm equivalent) while keeping autofocus.
