The camera's 20.4MP Live MOS sensor and TruePic IX processor deliver rich, detailed files, and 5-axis in-body stabilization rated up to 7.5 EV steps with Sync IS keeps handheld shots steady. A 121-point cross-type phase-detection AF system, Pro Capture and Starry Sky AF make the kit equally at home photographing wildlife, events or the Milky Way. Shutter speeds reach 1/8000 sec mechanically and 1/32000 sec in silent mode.

Press the CP button for Live ND, 50MP Handheld High Res Shot or Focus Stacking, and switch to video for C4K/4K capture with OM-Log400 or vertical recording for social clips. With USB-C charging and an included BLS-50 battery, it is a complete one-lens travel system. The zoom uses 12 elements in 9 groups, including ED and aspherical elements, for consistent sharpness from wide to tele.
