Together the body and lens weigh roughly 672 g, light enough for all-day carry.

The IP53-rated body is dust- and splash-proof and freezeproof to -10 C. Its 20.4MP Live MOS sensor and TruePic IX engine produce detailed images, and 5-axis stabilization rated up to 7.5 EV steps with Sync IS lets you shoot handheld at slow shutter speeds. AF uses 121 all cross-type phase-detection points, with Starry Sky AF for astro work.

Computational features sit behind a dedicated CP button, including Live ND, 50MP Handheld High Res Shot and Focus Stacking, while video options cover C4K and 4K recording, the OM-Log400 profile and vertical video. The classic silver-and-black styling recalls OM film cameras, but the technology is thoroughly modern. A vari-angle 3.0-inch touchscreen and 2.36M-dot OLED viewfinder make framing comfortable in any light.
