The 20.4MP Live MOS sensor and TruePic IX processor work with 121-point all-cross-type phase-detection autofocus and AI subject detection, while 5-axis in-body stabilization delivers up to 5.5 stops of shake correction. The 125g kit lens focuses as close as 0.13m and, like the body, carries an IPX1 splashproof rating.

For anyone building a personal style, the PEN makes it easy: four color and four monochrome profiles sit on the Profile Control switch, Art Filters and Auto Live Guide simplify creative choices, and computational modes like Live ND and Live Composite produce long-exposure looks handheld or on a tripod. Video shooters get C4K/4K recording and a plug-and-play webcam mode.
